My Approach

The Road Back to Yourself

I believe therapy is more than simply treating symptoms. It can be a journey toward a deeper understanding of yourself, a renewed connection with what matters to you, and a greater sense of who you are and who you want to become.

My approach is warm, grounded, practical, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral, trauma-informed, existential, narrative, and mindfulness-based therapies. Together, we'll address the challenges you're facing while also exploring the deeper patterns, beliefs, relationships, and experiences that have shaped you.

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, understood, and actively involved in the process. Therapy isn't about being told who you should be or how you should live. It's about creating the space to understand yourself more clearly, discover what matters to you, and develop the tools and perspective to live more intentionally.

I believe each person has their own unique strengths, capacities, and possibilities for growth. Part of the therapeutic journey is discovering those possibilities and creating the conditions for them to develop. As we come to understand where you've been and how you've learned to navigate the world, we can also begin to ask deeper questions: What kind of person do you want to become? What do you want your life to stand for? What parts of yourself have been overlooked, constrained, or left undeveloped?

The goal is not to become someone else. It is to become more fully yourself—to develop your own capacities, reconnect with what is meaningful, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, purposeful, and alive.
